XTAR VC8 is an eight-bay charging station with dual-channel integrated LCD screens designed for charging Li-ion, LiFePO4, NiMH and NiCd batteries, including 18650, 20700 and 21700 protected cells. The VC8 charger comes standard with XTAR's Award-winning 0V Activation Function which can revive over-discharged batteries and bring them back to life.
Just like the VC4S, the VC8 supports USB Type C fast charging to ensure that batteries charge as quickly as possible. The VC8 Smart Charger will charge up to eight batteries and select an optimal charging strategy by detecting the internal resistance of the charged battery, and according to the number of the batteries, input power, and battery type.
The VC8 super clear LCD screens will dim after a minute with non-use or you can manually switch-off at any time. The displays provide real-time information including charging status, charging mode, and whether the charger is in grade or storage mode.
In charging mode you can manually set two batteries to charge at either 3000mA or 2000mA, four batteries at 1000mA or eight batteries at 500mA or 250milliamps.
Storage mode makes it easier to charge or discharge batteries to their rated voltage, perfect for Long Term Battery Storage. Grade mode tests the true capacity of your batteries by charging, discharging then re-charging your batteries back to their full potential.
